The Playnomics Workshop conducted by ISBF on 20th July, 2021 provided the senior Economics students with an insightful understanding of the stock market. The students were divided into teams and were asked to trade in a variety of stocks listed on the exchange such that their portfolio value would increase. It allowed the students to build an investment portfolio based on financial analysis and shuffle it in accordance with market dynamics. They were able to evaluate the market strategies which could maximise their portfolio values, The prices of various stocks could be critically deciphered by them depending on the events and policies, both national and international. All in all, this workshop helped students to enhance their skills of analytical thinking, accurate decision making, number- crunching and team work.
