The children of Grade IV started their Mother’s day activity by sharing their thoughts on Mother’s Day. The teachers then explained that Mother’s Day was celebrated in the 1900s as a result of the efforts of Anna Jarvis.

The children then briefly discussed the importance of mothers in their lives as a caregiver and a guide. The children were asked to prepare some

delicious food items or drink to surprise their mothers on this special occasion. The children showed immense enthusiasm and their mothers were pleasantly surprised and touched by this wonderful gesture.
