The children of Indus Valley World School showcased their talent and enthusiasm at the Kalrav Fest organised by B.D.M. International on 30th of November 2024. The students from Pre-primary, Grades I and II took part in a variety of events including Rangmanch (Mime), Melodymosaic (Musical Medley), Rhythm Riders (Western Dance), Wonder Weavers (craftwork) and Chocolatopia ( assembling chocolates into a bouquet).
Children’s creativity and talent truly shined during the musical enactment called Rangmanch. kudos to Drishya Anvi(LKG – B), Dishani Dhar (UKG-A), Mehr Chakraborty (LKG- B), and Ashwika Sengupta (LKG- A) for their participation in such a fun and enriching activity.
In the event Melody mosaic Aryaan Sarkar (UKG -A), Prantika Mondal (IA), Zoya Chakraborty ( IC), Aditri Deb (IB), Ayaan Mukherjee (IB), and Aaditri Mukherjee (IB) combined four different songs to create a storytelling medley which was both entertaining and engaging for the audience. In the event ‘Rhythm Riders’ Areehan Bhattacharjee (IA), Saanjhbati Adhikari (2A), Darshit Verma ( 2B), Vihaan Chakraborty (2C), and Gayatri Panda (IB) showcased their remarkable talents by performing Jazz dance numbers with incredible skill and precision.
In the event ‘Wonder Weavers’ Reyanshi Roy and Shreejoni Nayak of Grade IB, got a splendid opportunity to project their creative talents where they used five different styles of craftwork to create a beautiful picture of nature.
Last but not the least Aritra Halder and Medha Lath of Grade IIC demonstrated their imagination and craftsmanship by assembling a variety of chocolates into a beautiful bouquet. The event Chocolatopia was a sweet and satisfying celebration of art, creativity and chocolate.
The hard work and dedication of the mentors and participants paid off as they were able to secure the 1st position in Rangmanch, 2nd position in Melodymosaic, and 3rd position in Rhythm Riders and Chocolatopia. This is truly a remarkable achievement and a testament to the talent and creativity of our young students.
Kudos to all the participants and mentors for their stupendous effort in making our school proud at the Kalrav fest. It is events like these that not only showcase the skills of our students but also bring the school community together in a spirit of friendship competition.
