Students from across the city schools joined the Grand Marathon on ‘‘SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE..KOLKATA JAAGO 2017’ organised by Indus Valley World School on 23rd January, 2017. A Joint public initiative by Kolkata Police and Karmyog in association with The Telegraph, Young Metro witnessed a 6 km awe-inspiring stunning run which was flagged off by the most respected Deputy Commissioner Traffic (Kolkata Police Force) Shri V.Solomon Nesakumar-IPS, where children from different schools participated for the good cause. The event was worth remembering as apart from the general category winners the girl students were also rewarded separately for topping the charts.
