It was on 16th December 2024 that Birla High School Mukundapur brought Spellympic 2024 to its just close after five scintillating rounds that saw the finest young minds match their wordy wits.

Indus Valley World School was ably represented by Utkarsh Raaghav Roy (IV A), Inaaya Shaikh (V E) and Susomoy Debsarma (V E) who ascertained their school’s place among the top 10 teams in the grand finale. The rounds ranged from spelling words, code-cracking through unjumbling letters, to guessing the correct idioms and proverbs. The school team won unanimous applause for being the only team to triumph the Rapid Fire round by answering all correctly. While leading in all the rounds, the school team fell short of a podium finish in a nail-biting 5th round of online word building mastery.

The persevering study and positive outlook shown by our students deserve commendation for they have fashioned a trajectory that can only be taken further upward.
