The relationship between a grandparent and a grandchild is a very special one and this day was celebrated with the idea of honouring them. On 1st October, the children of the Pre- Primary Section of Indus Valley World School observed the International Day for the Elderly. The day started off with a Circle Time conversation where the teachers discussed the important role that our grandparents play in our lives. The importance of why we should always respect our grandparents and take care of them.

This was followed by Craft Time. The children made colourful cards for their grandparents, complete with a very special personalized message for them.
