A special assembly was organised by the students to Grades III and IV to celebrate the Bengali New Year or Pohela Baisakh on 13th April 2023. The participants explained the significance of the day and spoke about how Pohela Baisakh is not only celebrated in Bengal, but also in other parts of the country – as Baisakhi in Punjab, Puthandu in Tamil Nadu, Vishu in Kerala and Rongali Bihu in Assam. The singers rendered Tagore’s – Esho he Baisakh and welcomed ১৪৩০ with great enthusiasm.Our principal Ms. Reshma Bhattacharya addressed the gathering and spoke about the relevance of the day to the little ones.
