Filmit Prize Distribution Ceremony

The Filmit Prize Distribution ceremony was held on 31st January at Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, bringing together around 20 schools to celebrate the culmination of a year-long film-making experience. The event provided a platform for students from each participating school to share their experiences and showcase their skills through presentations.
 
The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, G.M Kapur, Director of INTACH Conservation Institute, and S.V Raman, President of Bichitra Pathshala, who delivered inspiring speeches on the art of film-making and the impact it can have. They shared valuable insights on what it takes to be a successful filmmaker and make a positive difference through this medium.
 
The highlight of the event was the award distribution, where Indus Valley World School emerged as a proud winner in two categories. The school won the Best Green Film award for its thought-provoking film on the Sundarbans, and the Best Direction award for its exceptional film, Laha Bari. These awards are a testament to the school’s dedication to film-making and its commitment to creating content that resonates with audiences.
