Children’s Day Celebration of Middle Section
15th November 2024
Indus Valley World School Celebrates Children’s Day with Flair
The School auditorium transformed into a vibrant hub of laughter and excitement as Indus Valley World School celebrated Children’s Day with a captivating drama, “Burun er Golpo”. Adapted from Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay’s “Gosaibaganer Bhoot.” This hilarious play had students of Grades 6-8 enthralled.
The teachers’ enthusiastic participation in dance, drama, music, and role-play left the children mesmerized. Witnessing their beloved educators in unconventional roles sparked unbridled joy and applause. The students’ faces lit up and their joy knew no bounds as they watched their Principal, Vice -Principal, Middle School Head, Headmistress and teachers bring the story to life with impeccable acting, singing, and dancing.
Under the expert direction of their teachers Suromita Kanjilal and Rashmita Roy, the team’s tireless efforts shone through in every aspect, from editing and lighting to music arrangement and makeup. The elaborate costumes and choreography added to the production’s grandeur.
Post-performance, the children indulged in fun-filled activities at teacher-organized stalls, including a Photo Booth, Jukebox, Nail Art, and Hair Braiding. Savory delights like Biryani, Chocolate Cupcakes, Momos and Kebabs were also on offer. The day concluded with personalized tokens for each student, a heartfelt gesture from the school.
The event showcased the teachers’ dedication to creating an unforgettable experience for their students. As the children’s laughter and smiles filled the air, it was clear that this Children’s Day celebration would remain etched in their memories forever.
