Celebrating International Mother Language Day at Our School!

On February 17, 2025, our Grade 4 and 5 students came together for a vibrant celebration of International Mother Language Day through a special assembly that showcased the rich tapestry of linguistic diversity and commemorated the struggle that symbolises 21st February as the day of celebrating mother language.

The young learners captivated everyone with their thoughtful presentations, which included melodious songs, heartfelt recitations, and an enlightening journey through the historical significance of this important day.

A highlight of the assembly was the engaging interactive session led by our Headmistress, where students participated in meaningful discussions about the importance of preserving and celebrating our native languages and respecting all languages. The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with everyone joining in for the National Anthem.

The Middle section students celebrated this day by expressing their deep connection to their mother tongue through creative art pieces and moving literary compositions that were displayed in the school corridors.

This celebration not only honoured our linguistic heritage but also reinforced the importance of mother languages in shaping our cultural identity and fostering global understanding.
