Independence Day Celebration: On the occasion of Independence Day, our tiny –tots sang patriotic songs and came dressed up as some of the important freedom fighters of our country who sank into oblivion with the passage of time. It was a spectacular sight to see our little children proudly reciting patriotic poems with much vigour and enthusiasm. The students with the help of their teachers and parents geared up to remember all those “unsung heroes” who were instrumental in freeing our country from the clutches of British imperialism.
Singing Competition: On the 28th of August, the students of Upper Infant participated in a singing competition where the students selected from seven sections (Upper Infant A ,B,C,D,E ,F and K) displayed their vocal skills. Their melodious songs tugged at our heart strings and transported us to a different world. Among the twenty participants, Aishani Paul of Upper Infant-E stood first while Jeet Sarkar of Upper Infant-D and Rishit Pattanayak of Upper Infant-F stood second and third respectively. They received a thunderous round of applause.
