On 21st March, the students of Grades III & IV presented the concert “জঙ্গলে CRISIS” to a packed auditorium of over 600 parents and guests. The occasion was graced by the National award winning actress Ms.Sudipta Chakraborty and the CEO Mr.S.L.Gupta. An in house production the foyer was transformed into a jungle that welcomed all. The props for all the children were crafted by the Art department of the school. An extremely relevant theme which raised vital concerns about stereotypes that trouble society, the story beautifully unfolded in a jungle. Thr strong message of accepting each other just the way we are and not judging each other was related through the plight faced by the animals in the jungle. A beautifully crafted script was presented by the students after the rigorous training received from their teachers of the music, dance and drama faculties. The children were supported by some students from Grades 6-9. The musical drama was greeted with thunderous applause by the entire audience when the Director Ms. Amita Prasad delivered the vote of thanks. The audience asked for an encore!
