In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for ‘Swachch Bharat’, our school organized a cleanliness drive on 4th of September 2019. The students wore gloves and picked up brooms and cleaned the streets of the slum area near the school. They also sprinkled bleaching powder and phenyl in the drains. The enthusiastic lot not only cleaned the area but also educated the residents on the importance of keeping the surroundings tidy. They carried banners and urged people to keep their locality and the city free from litter.

It was an unique and satisfying experience for the students who also understood the significant role of community workers in keeping our society clean.
