On 15th August 2019, Independence Day was celebrated by the hoisting of the flag by the School Captain Eka Narayan and the Senior Prefects of the school. This was followed by a short assembly that was attended by the entire teaching faculty and staff of the school. The short programme saw pieces being presented by the leadership team of the school. While the Director addressed the gathering about the meaning of Nationalism, the Vice Principal and Dean Arts recited a poem in Bengali and Hindi about the challenges the nation faces today. The Head of Middle School recited some verses from the poem on freedom. The morning came to a close where all present took the pledge and sang the National Anthem.
