On 26th November, Indus Valley World School celebrated Constitution Day with great enthusiasm to honour the adoption of the Indian Constitution on 26 th November 1946. Constitution Day serves as a tribute to the vision of the Constituent Assembly, which comprised leaders and visionaries from diverse backgrounds. The significance of this day was explained to the students through a plethora of activities. To underlining the significance of this historic document, the concerned teachers engaged the students in a unique interactive session on the making of the Constitution. Discussions highlighted the ideals enshrined in the Constitution, such as secularism, socialism, democracy, Fundamental Rights, Duties etc. The students also depicted their feelings on patriotism through a painting activity. They were delighted to click pictures surrounding the selfie points prepared on Constitution Day. It was indeed an earnest endeavour by CBSE, to provide the needed impetus to sensitise the students on allegiance to their country and prepare them as dynamic and responsible citizens of the world.
