As a part of our weeklong celebration of the upcoming Children’s Day, IVWS had arranged a story-telling session for the students of Grades I and II in the school auditorium for a special storytelling session by the renowned storyteller ‘ Golpo Didi’ Ms Priyanka Chatterjee. The excitement was palpable as the children eagerly awaited for the start of the session. Ms Chatterjee used the traditional Japanese storytelling method called Kamishibai and used large colour pictures to accompany the dramatic narration of the story. This storytelling session was a memorable and enriching experience that showcased the power of storytelling to connect people across cultures and generations. Children left the auditorium with smiles on their faces and hearts full of wonder, grateful for the opportunity to experience the art of storytelling with ‘Golpo Didi’.
