.”Students from Indus Valley World School had an inspiring visit to the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) on November 2nd. The occasion celebrated the birthday of renowned scientist Dr. Mahendra Lal Sarkar, with talks by eminent speakers including vice chancellors and a Padma Shri awardee.
The students also learned about the groundbreaking work of Nobel Laureate Professor C.V. Raman, whose research was conducted at IACS. Four students from grades 12A, 12B, and 12C – Heemraj Chakraborty, Souradeep Bhattacharya, Ashutosh Sarangi, and Raya Roy – participated in a special quiz event ‘Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. Mahendralal Sarkar: Inspiring Scientific Minds.’
