On 10th February, 40 students from IVWS were taken for a heritage walk around the Dalhousie and Esplanade areas of Kolkata. They visited the Central Telegraph office, General Post Office, Currency building, N.C.Dawn, Writers building, St. Andrew’s Church and the St. John’s Vhurch to name a few of the iconic buildings in the region.An extremely informative and interesting session unfolded through which the students learnt about the history of Calcutta during the British Raj.
