On 20th January four students participated in the MICROBIT competition organised by the British Council at the International Book Fair. In the Do Your Bit Challenge our students created two working models aligned to address SDG No.13 on Climate Action.
Both projects were created to prevent deforestation and maintain the proper soil moisture to enhance plantations.
The judges from the British Council interacted with various students of 8 teams from 8 different schools in order to understand their projects. Based on project presentation analysis, demonstration of the project, and interactive skills the team of IVWS were adjudged the winners and received the first prize! Congratulations to our students and the teachers who did us proud!
