In the first week of January, one student and one teacher were chosen to represent IVWS for a specialised camp organised by SHER in collaboration with Sanctuary Asia and H.T.Parekh Foundation. Over three days they were taken through the mangrove forests by officers to teach them about our shrinking habitat of the Sunderbans. Besides spotting various reptiles and amphibians the students learnt about the worship of ‘Bonobobi’ by the fishermen. The message shared with the students was for sharing awareness about protecting the Sunderbans.
