On 29th September, students from Grades IV and V of Indus Valley World School participated in Avishkar – Beyond Atoms, Science Fest at B.D Memorial Junior School. The presentation emphasised the sustainable production and consumption of Hilsa Fish. It was based on SDG goals 12, 13 and 14. An awareness programme was conducted through a role play performed by our students. The visitors were made aware of the effects of the marine pollution hazards affecting the migratory routes of the Hilsa fish. The visitors were requested to sign a petition asking for the protection of newborn Hilsa fish so that they do not become endangered.
