The students of Grade VIII visited the Alipore Jail Museum on 16th March with their teachers. History came alive for them as they saw the place where important freedom fighters like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Jawaharlal Nehru, C.R. Das, Aurobindo Ghosh were imprisoned.They also visited the art gallery, jail hospital and the gallows. They were excited to learn and see the different kinds of pistols and weapons used during the revolutionary movement in Bengal.It was a memorable experience for the students and teachers alike.
