IVWS was delighted to host Dr. Madhurima Vidyarthi and her book illustrator Tanvi Bhat on 9th September in the school auditorium. The students of Grade VIII were lucky to listen to excerpts read out from the author’s book, ‘ My Grandmother’s Masterpiece,’ by the author and our Vice Principal Ms. Priyadarshinee Guha. The illustrator Ms. Tanvi Bhat shared her graph from being an animation artist to becoming an illustrator. Her sketching of one of the lead characters from the book was a huge bonus for the students. The session ended with the students asking the author various questions about her writing and the reasons why she writes or what inspires her to write. Dr. Vidyarthi painstakingly responded to all their questions and shared with them her passion for writing.
