Tannistha Nandi of Grade X has been declared a UNESCO Laureate 2020 based on a World Tales contest held last year.Tannistha is the only Indian out of 15 Laureates worldwide and in her age category she is also the only Asian. In the award ceremony held in Paris and VC yesterday she was declared to be the Silver medal ? winner. Her story will be published in an anthology by UNESCO soon.
