Dear Parents,

In accordance with the direction issued by the Division Bench of the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court dated 13th October 2020, all parents are requested to note the following:

• 80% of the Tuition Fees for the period April 1, 2020 to November 30, 2020 must be paid by November 30, 2020.
• Parents / guardians are requested not to avail of the above – mentioned reduction in the fees if their financial situation does not merit such reduction. Accordingly, parents who have paid 100% of the Tuition Fees and / or intend to pay 100% of the fees are requested to do so.
• In the event that parents who have paid 100% of the Tuition Fees wish to avail of the reduction and pay 80% of the Tuition Fees, they will not receive any refund but will have the balance in their favour adjusted against payment of Tuition Fees for the period subsequent to November 30, 2020.
• Parents / guardians who are not in a position to pay the reduced Tuition Fees may apply to the school by November 15, 2020 for reduction or waiver or delayed or instalment payments with supporting documents to justify such request. This application should be mailed to accounts@ivws.org and admin@ivws.org.

Please note: Requests without supporting documents will not be entertained. The management after due perusal of the parents’ request (backed by the supporting documents) will communicate with the parents individually.

• With regard to the Bus Fees, discounts amounting to 30% of the charges for the 1st and 2nd Quarter and 50% of the charges for the 3rd Quarter have already been given that covers the non – essential charges for transport. [Ref Paragraph 47 of the direction issued by the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court dated 13th October 2020]. Parents who do not wish to pay these charges, are free to withdraw their wards from the school bus service by sending a mail to accounts@ivws.org and admin@ivws.org.
• In the event that no application is made by November 15, 2020 and the fees due are not paid by November 30, 2020, the concerned student will not be entitled to attend school in any mode and will be denied all facilities being offered by the school.

We assure you that the management will take a sympathetic view of cases where parents are facing financial hardship in the period of the pandemic.

• The order of the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta dated October 13, 2020 is available on the website of the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta being www.calcuttahighcourt.gov.in/Case-Status and parents/guardians are requested to access the same for their own understanding of the directions of the Hon’ble High Court.
• The above information is being furnished without prejudice to the right of the school to challenge the order dated October 13, 2020 of the Hon’ble High Court and is subject to any further orders that may be passed by the Hon’ble High Court and/or the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, as the case may be.
