Event Profile : Independence Day was celebrated at IVWS with great fervour and feeling of Nationalism. The highlight of the day’s programme was the Inter-house skit competition. The four houses, namely Indus, Brahmaputra, Ganga and Yamuna had to write their own skits based on the theme ‘Freedom at Midnight’. Suddenly a number of teachers and students dawned the mantle of script writers, directors and actors. At the end of the day everyone witnessed four great skits well written and acted out, sending out a clear message of freedom. It did not matter much who had won the trophy.
