Event Profile : Children of Indus Valley World School had an experience of their life time on 23rd Dec.2011 when they celebrated the Christmas Carnival in a unique way. The preparations for the celebration began with the practice for inter class Carol singing competition. Every class decorated the class room to the best of their aesthetic sense and imagination. Christmas trees and Santa Claus were brought in and the classrooms were decorated. Then the students sat with their class teachers and planned a Christmas Party. Every student of the class brought some delicious dish/food on 23rd and had a wonderful party sharing the home made food from different kitchens. Each class sang melodious Christmas carols and brought cheer to the spell bound audience. Great glamour was added to the entire day with the primary children participating in a fancy dress competition. For the children the whole thing ended too soon and wished to stay the whole day long. By 1:15 pm all went back home with a Christmas message from the principal, to enjoy a well earned vacation.
