The auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja was observed at Indus Valley World School on 29 January 2020 with dedication and humility. After worshipping the goddess in the school grounds we shifted to the auditorium where our students from Classes 4 and 5 presented a beautiful Saraswati Vandana and then performed a dance to the melodious strains of ‘ ‘modhuro dhwani baaje.’ The morning was made magical as Indrajit RoyChowdhury paid homage to his Guru Late Shri Subrata RoyChowdhury(on his birthday) by playing Raag Bilaskhani Todi and Raag Bhairavi for all of us. We were completely mesmerised by his outstanding performance. All this would have not been possible without the love and support of Sohini Roychowdhury Dasgupta of Sohinimoksha’s programme of ‘Connecting Civilizations’.
