On 2 August 2019, the Indus Valley World School was delighted to host author Supriya Newar. Her new book titled ‘ KALKATTA CHRONICLES’ is now on the Bestseller List in the city. She was in conversation with Ms.Priyadarshinee Guha, Dean-Arts. The audience comprised teachers and students from Classes 10,11 and 12. It was an enthralling hour as the author spoke to the students about the images in her book that are so much a part of her childhood years spent in North Kolkata. Ms. Newar and Ms. Guha both read out excerpts from different chapters in the book that the audience listened to with rapt attention. The morning ended with a Q & A session in which the author answered the questions posed to her by the students.
